OLLY - book shelf

The project OLLY is a bookshelf that is created for everyone. The official claim was: “quando la cultura incontra il design (when culture meets design)”. Every day disabled people is waking up to a more difficult world than the one we recognize. Good design is all about problem solving, helping all them that others forget. This was my aim.

The OLLY works with the help of standard part. This means that it will have a reduced cost for the finale client.

It works with the chain mechanism from a vertical storage carousel. This is liked with a handle that allows the user to turn the shelfs from a given height of 110 cm. This means that everyone form kids to disabled, normal adults to elderly people, can get hold of their books without any help
